Welding reducers
A pressure regulator is a device for reducing (lowering) the usually fluctuating inlet pressure prevailing in a gas cylinder to as constant outlet pressure as possible, specified to supply a particular type of appliance such as a gas burner. Regulators with output pressure control for various gases have a similar internal and external design, however, they differ in their cylinder connections, which may prevent mistakenly connecting a regulator suitable for a different gas to the cylinder. The user has a choice of regulators in horizontal or vertical arrangement.
Pomet reducers feature a metal piston instead of the commonly used rubber membrane. This guarantees trouble-free operation of the reducer with a built-in sintered metal filter protecting the inside of the outlet from becoming dirty which would result in a failure of the pressure reduction system.
