History
“POMET” from Wronki was founded on 12 March 1953 under the name Metalworking Company No. 2 (POMET-2), Its primary aim was the re-socialisation through work and apprenticeship of inmates.
The first welding accessory product was a universal torch manufactured in 1956: the NORMUS BIS. Six years later, as a result of cooperation with the Gliwice Welding Institute, the new PSC- 1 torch was developed and the production of electrode forceps holders began. The result of this cooperation was a gradual increase in the range of welding accessory products and its technical refinement.
Merger of enterprises
On 30 November 2021, by enries in the National Court Register concerning the merger of state- owned enterprises, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Justice published in the Official Journal of the Minister of Justice of 2021 under items 213, 231 and 232, the merger of the companies has taken place “Pomet” in Wronki and Nysa with the enterpirse in Nowogard, which until then called “Gardia”, was completed.

Modernisation of the machine park- expansion of the offer with the Amada FOiM2 3015 NT laser.
2016
Development of the machine park- expansion of the range with the AMADA FIBER and the DMG eco turn 310 bending machine.
2019
Modernisation of the machine park with further machines: CNC MAZAK machine tool and DynoBend bending machine.
2021
Rebranding of the POMET-2 brand to “Pomet” (new logo)
2021
Merger of “Pomet” in Wronki and Nysa with the former company “Gardia” from Nowogard.

CSR
In its more than 70-year history, P.P.P.M. Pomet has always supported sport. There have been numerous sports sections within our company. From football to water sports. In 2021, we signed a sponsorship agreement with “ Błękitni Wronki” to support young people and the local community in such an important aspect as physical exercise. “ Błękitni Wronki” is first and foremost a historic club from Wronki, what unites us is a long-standing tradition. We are part of the “Blue family.”

We operate points of sale on the praises of prisons, external wards and detention centres. These outlets process E-package orders for inmates. Information on E-package orders can be found on the prison website.
